Labor commits to $2.4 billion broadband network upgrade

Federal Labor is promising to spend 2.4 billion dollars upgrading the National Broadband Network, to deliver faster internet speeds for more than a million homes. It's the first major policy unveiled by the opposition in months, as the party prepares for a looming election.
