With its new Litchfield warehouse, Asos plans to create around 2000 employees | NafiraMadiun
Asos has launched a new £90 million fulfillment center in Litchfield to serve consumers in the United Kingdom and over 150 other countries.
GXO has already hired around 700 individuals at the 437,000-square-foot building, with ambitions to hire 2,000 more over the next three years.
During the first year of operation, the online shop expects to ship over 30 million units, with up to 4.5 million units per week once fully operating.
The hub will assist Asos satisfy rising customer demand and support the firm's goal of £7 billion in annual revenue in the next three to four years, according to the company.
Atlanta, Barnsley, and Berlin are the company's additional fulfillment centers.
Asos CEO Nick Beighton commented, "We're excited to be setting the foundations for our future expansion in Lichfield."
