Victorian Govt to spend $7 million on phase-one of restoring Moonee Ponds creek

The locals call it a drain or even a gutter. But soon, a section of the Moonee Ponds creek will be restored to a thriving habitat. The creek in Melbourne’s north-west was filled with concrete in the 60s to prevent flooding, but locals have been calling for its rehabilitation for decades.
