EVERY possible element of Yasmin Charlotte’s life is pink. The 33-year-old’s love for the colour is reflected in her home through her pink walls, floors, kitchen utensils and home accessories. Yasmin, of Switzerland, told Truly: “Living in my own pink doll house makes me really happy. I enjoy every minute I can spend here.” Not only is Yasmin’s home pink, but so is her entire wardrobe. The teacher is even affectionately known as ‘Miss Pink’ by her students as she dresses all in pink for work. Yasmin said: “Of course I had other clothes in other colours because being a pink girl is a progress so I bought over the years more and more pink clothes. And when I was 19 years old, I threw my last pair of jeans away so I don't own anything but pink clothes now.” Yasmin’s love for the colour began when she was 12 after her mum bought her a pair of pink trousers and she began collecting pink items. 20 years later, the colour is central in Yasmin’s life and she wears and loves all shades of pink, from neon to rose, blush to magenta. But not salmon, which she classes as orange. Yasmin said: “What I really like about the colour pink is that it's just a happy feminine but also such a soft and powerful colour. It’s just different from all the other colours.”
