Sponges believed to be world's oldest animal fossils

Scientists have identified what they believe to be the world's oldest animal fossils. They're ancient sponges, and were first found two decades ago in the Mackenzie Mountains in north-west Canada by Dr Elizabeth Turner, who's now based at Laurentian University in Ontario.
