Braving rain, Ranchi forms human chain demanding justice for Stan Swamy

Several activists, intellectuals, students, representatives of organisations, came together at Albert Ekka chowk, Ranchi to form a human chain to protest against the injustice meted out to Father Stan Swamy. Despite heavy rain, people stood together with placards protesting against the injustice. It was an event part of the national campaign, called by more than 100 organisations, against the institutional murder of Stan Swamy, repealing draconian laws like UAPA and against growing attacks on the right to dissent.
