Job Searching in the UK - even in a recession

Are you desperately looking for a great job that pays the bills and leaves you enough money to go on holiday this year? Do you find it impossible to get a job because more of the recession? Have you ended up in the hellish nightmare of justifying why you're out of work every time you sign on â?? not to mention putting up with the odd delays in benefit payments? Even if you do find a suitable job advertised, where can you turn to for help? The dole office have leaflets to assist you but the information is so bland that it can hinder rather than help you. You could ask to be put on a job search training program. If you're lucky enough to get on one, your chances of getting back into work will be far greater. The only trouble with many of these programmes is that you are shown same old traditional techniques to find work. They are not quite as effective as they were before the recession took hold. No one really seems to be keeping up with the times and taking the recession into account nor do they really show you short cuts and how the job hunting system really can work for you.
