Kulamani Baral Murder Case: BJP Stages Demonstration Demanding Proper Instigation | OTV News

BJP supporters hit the streets in all blocks in Cuttack including Mahanga protesting the brutal murder of BJP leader Kulamani Baral and his associate Dibyasingh Baral. Demanding immediate arrest of those involved in the murder, BJP also demanded the removal of Law Minister Pratap Jena citing his alleged involvement in the murder.
Following the incident the son of the deceased BJP leader, Ramakant Baral had lodged a complaint at Mahanag Police Station, naming 12 persons, including Pratap Jena, from Salipur-Mahanga region over their alleged involvement in the murder.
Kulamani and his associate Dibyasingh Baral were attacked by unknown assailants while they were returning to their home on Saturday (January 2). Both were admitted to Mahanga Community Health Centre (CHC) where Kulamani was declared dead. Later, Dibyasingh succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
