NSW Upper House president expelled from Liberal party

The battle over who would become the next president of the NSW Upper House has ended with a defeat for the Premier, and the Liberal who won the position expelled from the party. Late last night Matthew Mason-Cox was elected to the role, after taking on Gladys Berejiklian's preferred candidate Natasha Maclaren-Jones.
