In 2006 a legend passed away in London. A man who had already seen the future- his name was Lalit Suri. In 2007 I made this film to celebrate his persona and his momentous life in the extreme fast track- A Busines Man- Automobile Engineer- Sportsman- A Tourism Visionary- a multi talented man whose towering personality left a deep mark on India. Prior to my arrival there was zero branding, a man who achieved so much had no film footage. During my research with various people I created a mental picture of him and successfully captured his unique and remarkable life story right from an infant migrating from Pakistan to becoming the undisputed King of Hospitality and Tourism in India. To most young Indians he is an inspiration who followed his passions- Maruti, Subros and Tourism- with absolutely no compromises. A very dear friend of his once told me, you know, Lalit Suri was like a super electric charge, the moment he appeared onto the scene, things began "buzzing".
His legacy to India is a vibrant focus on Tourism and the development of infrastructure in order to elevate Tourism to industry status.This film is an ode to the Man everyone knew as "LS"!!! It started the process of making him a "Larger than life Legend".
