Derry teenager Tamzin White speaks about her mother's battle with addiction and the need for a Detox Centre in Derry

Tamzin White from Derry and her two younger sisters lost their mother Louise O'Doherty White to addiction in January 2021. Louise was just 40 years old. Here Tamzin explains why Derry needs a dedicated Detox Centre after reviving a campaign which stretches back many years. A petition started by the teenager and backed by thousands of people is being presented to the Northern Ireland Health Minister Robin Swann by Foyle MLA Karen Mullan.
