Part 2 and concluding part of The Ghost of St Michael's (1941), starring Will Hay, Claude Hulbert, Charles Hawtrey, Raymond Huntley, John Laurie and Derek Blomfield. After the headmaster is found dead in his bedroom, William Lamb (Hay)'s position at the school looks precarious as old adversary Mr Humphries (Huntley) is appointed headmaster. But as the pupils (led by Charles Hawtrey) and his colleague Hilary Tisdaile (Hulbert) try to save his job and solve the mystery, another murder shocks the school and Lamb himself becomes prime suspect...

This is from an old video recording of mine from when it was broadcast on Channel 4 in 1993, and uploaded as it was broadcast, complete with adverts. It is uploaded into two parts due to the length of the film, and was released on May 19th 1941 by Ealing Studios.
