Part 2 of the Will Hay film My Learned Friend (1943), in which Hay plays a disbarred lawyer who encounters a former client he failed to prevent going to jail (a superb Mervyn Johns). Johns vows revenge on all the people responsible for his imprisonment, which leads Hay - and fellow failed lawyer Claude Hulbert - in a race against time to stop him from preventing his task - mainly because Hay is the last man on the hitlist! The 2nd part of this film (it was Hay's last), it involves a classic final encounter (I shan't reveal what so not to spoil things) and is a fitting swansong for a true British great in Will Hay.
