Always done my One Hand Deadlifts Straddle Style: facing the plates. Decided after see someone try a One Hand version of a Jefferson Lift that I would just HAVTA give it a try!! I used a weaker Overhand Grip to keep me from lifting too much too soon. I also wanted to prove a point about the Pullovers I had just done.
The Dead Stop Pullovers were done with a Monkey Grip(thumb on the same side ad the fingers) and I always feel they destroy my grip. I can EASILY pull 225lb-250lb on a a Straddle or Suitcase Style Deadlift using an Overhand Grip. I am absolutely strugglin' with 201lb which should let you know just how much those Pullovers can work yer grip!!
How did this movement itself feel?? Good! Its gonna take me a couple of workouts to tell ya more. God Bless!!
