You won’t find anyone who gets as excited about new ingredients as chef Wang Ying. For over 10 years, she’s been running an underground restaurant out of her home in Shanghai, and it is almost always booked.

In this video, she travels to Shaanxi Province in northwestern China to search for unique ingredients to use in her kitchen.
