桑树在中国古代有东方神木之称 。种桑养蚕，在中国有七千年的历史。丝绸是中国对外贸易的代名词，闻名世界的“丝绸之路”由此而来。
Mulberry is known as the Oriental divine tree in ancient China. Growing mulberries and raising silkworms has a history of about 7,000 years. Silk is the representation of Chinese exports, hence comes the name of the world-famous "Silk Road".
