1. For the overall fundraising by the Indian firms, USD 851.81 million was borrowed via the automatic path, while the remaining funds were borrowed through the approval route, as per the June 2020 RBI data on foreign commercial borrowing (ECB).
2. Diversified business entity ITC Ltd on Monday declared acquisition of spices manufacturer Sunrise Foods Private Ltd (SFPL) in an all-cash deal valued at Rs 2,150 crore.
3. Private sector lender Kotak Mahindra Bank on Monday reported 8.5 percent decline in its net profit to Rs 1,244.45 crore in the first quarter compared to a net profit of Rs 1,360.20 crore in the year ago period.
4. The SBI’s holding came down 30% from 48.21% after the FPO of Yes Bank.
The share capital of Yes Bank increased to 2,505.40 crore of face value Rs 2 per share from 1,255 Rs of face value of Rs 2 each.
