LSD 25

From the depths of Silicon Valley comes a curious fashion known as microdosing. Its advocates say that getting high with subtherapeutic substances, without direct effects, can help us focus and perform better at work. LSD and psilocybin, due to their entheogenic properties, are commonly chosen. But, of course, the issue of using drugs at work is neither simple nor common. Do they really serve to improve job performance?

There is no evidence, and the lack of studies in this regard makes it very difficult to overcome the taboo that involves using this type of substances in work settings.

A few years ago, James Fadiman, an American psychologist and writer, presented A Really Good Day, a work famous for presenting the concept of microdosing. Microdosing or microdosing consists of administering drugs in a subtherapeutic dose, that is, at levels below their psychoactive activity. The interesting thing about microdosing is that it does not have effects at the complete physiological level, but at the cellular level, according to Fadiman.

Is it time to legalize hallucinogenic mushrooms for medicinal use? Science says yes
This technique, which began using the study of cellular response to hallucinogenic substances, is raised by this psychologist as a method to increase concentration, solve complex problems, help improve mood and work perception ... Although Fadiman He is himself a researcher, the truth is that there are few or no studies in this regard. Curiously, this psychologist opened a forum where "fill" this scientific gap with the experience of people who practice microdosing in their day to day. In it he explains, based on his own experience, the maximum proportions, the drug used (lysergic acid or psilocybin), the dosage and some important aspects of this practice. On the other hand, there are already those who even try to do business "teaching" and advising those who want to try it and get its benefits, such as Paul Austin, who calls himself LSD Microsdosing Coach.

This man offers "classes" on Skype and is taking advantage of the situation to form a curious business, to say the least.

How does it work?
The most important thing, explains Fadiman, is not to exceed the microdose itself. This would manifest with visual effects. The common microdose is between 1/20 and 1/10 of the typical recreational dose. For LSD that would be about 20 micrograms.

It is estimated that the first visual effects begin at 25 micrograms, and 150 constitutes a "typical" dose, with an "intense trip", always in an estimated way. With psilocybin it is more difficult to know because it depends on the dry weight of the mushroom. Psilocybin is the prodrug of psilocin, which is the hallucinogenic compound. A normal dose of this compound is between 10 and 50 micrograms, contained in 2 grams (approximately) of dry weight of the mushroom. Therefore, the microdose would be achieved wi
