New Zealand has officially become a police state. A division of special police called the High Tech Crime Unit used facial recognition software Clearview AI in an illegal trial using volunteer police officers as well as suspects and people of interest without the notifying the police commissioner, privacy commissioner, and without any sort of clearance from the government. Clearview AI is a facial recognition software used by police around the world to identify suspects police (or anyone) can pay the disgusting capitalist companies for your photos from sites like Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat and other social media platforms then use the software to identify who you are. This was a gross action by the police unit and goes to show they cannot and must not be trusted by the people.
