Ingredients :
Goose Berry - Amla -
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 2 tsp
Garlic pods -8
Fenugreek Seeds -2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 4 tbsp
Salt To Taste
Green Chillies -2
Red Chillies - 2
Curry Leaves
Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
Coriander Leaves
Method:
In a pan, add oil, add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, red chilies, green chilies, and curry leaves, let's saute it well.
2 Once tempering is done, let it cool it down, In the meantime chop the gooseberries.
3. Cut the gooseberries and put it in another bowl.
4. In the grinder, add tempering mixture and gooseberries.
5. Grind it into a fine paste.
6. To gooseberries mixture, add the tempering
7. For tempering, add oil, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida, let saute it. Lastly, add chopped coriander.
8. Once the tempering is done, add to the gooseberries mixture
Tasty Amla Chutney/ Usirikaya Pachadi is ready.
