The Montreal Impact held a press conference on Monday morning (18 November) to introduce their new head coach, Thierry Henry.

The France and Arsenal great signed a two-year contract with the Impact, who placed ninth in the MLS Eastern Conference last season under coaches Remi Garde - another former Arsenal protege of coach Arsene Wenger - and Wilmer Cabrera.

The roster he inherits includes his former teammate at Barcelona a decade ago, Bojan Krkic.

The 42-year-old Henry, who spent four seasons playing in MLS with the New York Red Bulls, moves to Canada after a difficult three-month stint coaching his first professional club Monaco ended in January.
