BJP MLA Birendra Raghuvanshi from Madhya Pradesh on November 18 accused state’s Law Minister Pradhuman Singh Tomar of threatening him during a meeting after the former suggested that a medical college be named after Mahatma Gandhi instead of late Madhavrao Scindia, in Shivpuri. “I will write to Amit Shah ji asking for security. I was threatened, ‘dekh loonga, zaban band karle’; ye bhasha mujhse boli gai, and only because I suggested Mahatma Gandhi ji's name. Only Pradhuman Tomar will be responsible for any danger to my family and me,” Raghuvanshi told reporters. However, the accused MLA Tomar responded by saying, “I am not aware of any such incident. The decision to name the medical college after late Madhavrao Scindia was taken with consensus.” For latest news follow www.deccanherald.com.
