In this video, I have shown a simple diagram on how the body loses or gains weight. The two main factors are food intake and energy used.
Note that as we get older, our metabolism and movement slows, hence we expend less energy. This is the reason why many middle-aged persons gain weight.
Therefore, the lesson is to balance your food intake and exercise. So to lose weight, we should eat less and exercise more.
