MANILA – At least four robbers shot at mall security guards during a robbery attempt at the Farmer's Plaza in Cubao, Quezon City on Tuesday. The suspects robbed First Allied Emporium Jewelry, located at the mall's ground floor, at around 9:40 a.m. A security guard said two armed robbers barged into the shop and smashed jewelry glass cases, while two motorcycle-riding cohorts waited for them to get out with the loot. He said the robbers, who wore bull caps, managed to take off with pieces of jewelry and fled towards Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA). "Parang mayroon, kasi may laman sila sa bag," he said. The suspects also fired shots while escaping to cause panic among civilians. No one was reported injured in the incident, as of posting. Police are now at the crime scene to conduct an investigation.
