Palace hits Joker: Why so silent under GMA?

MANILA - A Palace spokesman on Monday called out former senator Joker Arroyo for turning a blind eye to the corruption scandals under President Gloria Arroyo while lashing out at the controversy over the disbursement acceleration program under President Aquino. Presidential Spokesman Edwin Lacierda reiterated that the DAP has legal basis since it only disburses savings of government agencies. He also criticized the "silent" Arroyo for speaking out now when he kept mum about the scandals under former President Arroyo including the P728 million fertilizer fund scam and the NBN-ZTE deal "It's very weird Senator Arroyo is talking now. Sinasabi niya may hindi mabuting nangyayari sa DAP. E nung buong taong nasas Senado po siya, ako I can tell you when he ran for Senate I voted for him kasi ang sinabi niya 'Kung bad ka, lagot ka.' E nung buong time na nasa Senado siya dumaan yung fertilizer fund scam, dumaan yung NBN-ZTE, ang daming dumaan na corruption cases sa Senate Blue Ribbon. Asaan yung 'kung bad ka, lagot ka?'
