Clams Masala - A coastal Maharashtra specialty – clams cooked in spicy gravy. This is another coastal special called as Clams Curry Recipe. In other words its a konkani clams curry with coconut which is hot and spicy. We have used fresh coconut as well as dry roasted coconut. The dish is tempting delicious when clubbed with steamed rice. It's a perfect recipe to be enjoyed in the rains! Clams are also known as tisryo or shimpi in India.

Ingredients:
For Masala
5 Dried Red
1 tbsp Rice
3 Green Chillies
1 tbsp Coriander Seeds
1/2 Coconut (grated)
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
Water
For Tempering
2 tbsp Coconut Oil
1 Onion (chopped)
1/2 kg Clams
1 Drumstick
1 Raw Mango (diced)
Salt
Method: Let's start with making the Masala for which add Dried Red Chillies, Rice, Green Chillies, Coriander Seeds, Coconut (grated), Turmeric Powder.
Next, let's grind this finely first then add Water and grind it again.
Next, take Clams in the Plate and let's make the Tempering for which heat up the Coconut Oil in the Pan after that add Onion (chopped) then saute till it turn Pink.
Next, add the Clams and saute for 2 minutes then add Drumstick (small pieces) mix them together. Now add Grounded Mixture with Water, Raw Mango (diced), Salt.
Next, let it cook for 8-10 minutes with lid close and after 10 minutes your Tisryache Amti is ready to serve.
Serve: 4 People
