Danish Bronze Age find: Chariot of the Sun

Denmark´s biggest attractions. This Bronze Age find was discovered by a farmer ploughing Trundholm Bog in Odsherred on Sealand, Denmark in 1902. The disc is coated with a thin layer of gold on one side representing daytime when the sun is on its east-west trajectory. It was used by priests when performing their rituals and no religious artifact like it has been found anywhere else in the world. See The Chariot of the Sun in The National Museum's Danish Prehistory exhibition.
