Mother's Cancer Has Returned Andrea Swift was originally diagnosed back in 2015. The "Shake it Off" songstress made the announcement in a new letter for 'Elle' magazine. The letter is titled, "30 Things I Learned Before Turning 30." Swift went on to reveal that her father, Scott Swift, has also previously battled cancer.
