Prime Minister Narendra Modi is due to address thousands of people at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, a day after his maiden address to the 193-member UN General Assembly.
Modi will address a packed crowd of 20,000 people in Madison Square Garden today. The tickets for the public reception were completely sold out ahead of the event.
It is said to be one of the largest public address by an Indian PM overseas.
“Around 50 Congressmen and senators are also expected to attend the address. They will also hold a private meeting with Modi later,” said Bharat Barai, president of the Indian-American Community Foundation and chief organiser of the Madison Square Garden event
