1 In the ninth stanza Duryodhana tells Guru Dronacharya that;
|| Anyecha Bahavah Shura Mad-Arthe Tyaktha-Jivitah
Nana-Shastra-Praharanah Sarve Yuddha-Visaradah ||

2 The rough translation of this stanza is;
Also, there are many other warriors who are prepared to risk their lives for my sake. They are all equipped with many weapons, and experts in the art of warfare.

3 Duryodhana was indeed confident of his victory on account of the above-mentioned combined strength of his companions and the presence of Bhishma.

4 Which is why we find him saying this in the tenth stanza;
|| Aparyaptam Tad Asmakam Balam Bhishmabhirakshitam
Paryaptam Tv Idam Etesham Balam Bhimabhirakshitam ||

5 This stanza can be translated as;
The strength of the Pandava army is limited since they are protected by Bhima, while the strength of our armed force is immeasurable as is safely directed by Grandsire Bhishma.

6 In the eleventh stanza Duryodhan calls out to his army saying;
|| Ayanesucha Sarveshu Yatha-Bhagam Avasthitah
Bhishma Evabhiraksantu Bhavantah Sarva Eva Hi ||

7 The stanza is roughly translated as;
And so, I call upon you all (the generals of the Kaurava army) to fully support Bhishma while defending your respective strategic points in the army.

8 In the next video, we will see how Mahamahima Bhishma one act boosted Duryodhana's confidence.
