Chip-embedded uniforms in China

Chip-embedded uniforms allow schools to track students entering and exiting campus. A microchip is embedded in the clothing which connects to schools’ surveillance systems. Schools in southwestern China are trialling the uniforms. While privacy is a main concern for parents, some say the technology could protect children.
