Born in Nigeria in the late 80s by a Clergy Man who was a musician back in the days before he became a church priest, his father performed with great Nigerian music households names like EBENEZER OBEY, DELE ABIODUN , SHINA PETERS, JIDE JOHNSON amongst others. At his tender age, the Man had played many old tapes to him while driving his old Volkswagen beetle.
Believing so much in nature, Akinwale felts its natural for him to be a musician despite the fact that he studied PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION in LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY. He found out that he could play musical instruments without formal training & haven known that talent is not enough he took his time to learn more to gain his competency.
He has worked with many Artistes especially as a session musician as far back at the age of 12 years while playing the Lap steel guitar, He was the first Nigerian to play the Lap steel Guitar in contemporary music before he picked up the common GUITAR when he was 17 after high school. Learning all around the world of music has really helped his musicianship. He recorded his first two songs in 2009 but he was never at content with the productions. he recorded his new single entitled: IFE MO-DE meaning (Love i am back)http://kiwi6.com/file/101c8t7kvl sure this song captures attentions with its great lyrical rhymes alongside with overdrive Guitar synchronizing the melody.
His 1st performance at ALL SEASON PLAZA LAGOS was a great musical delivery where he outwitted others with his dexterious guitar skill added with his seductive voice.
Subsequently he performed at the TERRA KULTURE Afro-Jazz project Lagos island Nigeria, also performed at the FRENCH CULTURAL CENTRE Lagos, ALL SEASON PLAZA, NIGERIA FINANCIAL INSTITUTION AWARD 2011 hosted by Enquirer magazine to mention few.
