"I started out, like many other musicians; singing and playing in church. My dad had me start piano and violin lessons when I was around 7 and I took them until I finished high school. During this time I almost exclusively played religious and classical music. Towards the end of high school I began to join acapella groups and listening to amazing crooners like Frank Sinatra and Louis Armstrong. As I started college I became fascinated with jazz and funk piano and listening to Micheal Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and Earth Wind and Fire which were the catalysts of my current musical taste and style.
Now I continue to play piano, guitar and beatbox frequently. I also find myself influenced by amazing current musicians and producers such as Bruno Mars, Pharrell Williams, Allen Stone, Calvin Harris, PJ Morton, and many more."
