Shami Kabab || شامی کباب || Boti Kabab || BY Urdu Recipe
Shami Kabab is a great dish that can be serve any time of the day. Follow this quick and simple recipe and learn how to make Shami Kababs at home. You can make bun kababs and sandwiches with it or you can serve with tea as well....Must try tasty and easy recipe.
INGREDIENTS:
*Beef Boneless (1 kg)
*Split Bengal Gram (1/2 kg)
(100% Boiled with Water (2 glass), Salt (1/2 tsp) & Turmeric (1/4 tsp)
*Onion (2 med)
*Ginger Garlic paste (3 tbsp)
*Cumin Seeds (2 tsp)
*Cinnamon Stick (2" of 3)
*Black Cardamom (4)
*Cloves (8-10)
*Black pepper (1/2 tsp)
*Button Red Chilli (15-18)
*Turmeric Powder (1 tsp)
*Salt (1tsp leveled)
*Chicken Stock Cube (1)
*Water (3 glass)
*All Spice Powder (1 tsp)
*Eggs (2)
*Green Chillies Chopped (3-4)
*Mint Leaves Chopped (1 bunch)
*Coriander Leaves Chopped (2 tbsp)
*Onion Chopped (1 large)
*Lemon Juice (2)
METHOD:
1.Take a pan add 2 glass Water, Split Bengal Gram (soaked 4 hour), Salt (1/2 tsp) & Turmeric (1/4 tsp). Mix well and boil with low flame untill pulse completly done and all water dries up.
2.In a pan, add water, beef boneless, onion, button red chilies, cinnamon stick, black cardamom, chicken stock cube (optional), salt, turmeric powder, black pepper corns, cloves, ginger garlic paste, cumin seeds and water. Bring it to boil. Cover and cook untill meat completly done (on low flame) and all water and let it cool.
3.Add Boiled Split Bengal Gram in meat mixture. Mix it Well remove all whole garam masala.
4.In a chopper, add all mixture & beaten egg few amount time by time & grind very well.
5.All Grinded stuff transfer in a bowl. Add Mint Leaves Chopped, Onion Chopped, Green Chillies Fine Sliced, Lemon Juice, Coriander Chopped and All Spice Powder. Mix well combine. Make kabab/patties of the batter with your hands.
6.Heat oil in frying pan and fry the kabab/patties.
7.Shami kababs are ready, serve with ketchup / Mayonise / chutnies (dips) & salat.
