Your hair washing cycle is very important. Try to wash it 2 or 3 times (max.) a week. Minimize the conditioner, only put it from mid-length to the ends.
Keep your hands off your hair. We use our hands to touch everything, so touching your hair will just add oil, dirt and dust. Basically filth.
Always try to have dry shampoo on hand. It's handy and will give the impression your hair is washed, plus it will give more volume on the roots. If you don't have dry shampoo, use baby powder.
Don't use too much hair products. A lot of gels, mousses, creams have oil in them and will contribute to the production of oily hair.
And of course be careful at what you eat! Processed food, fried food, carbohydrates will increase the amount of oil your hair produce.
These tricks will help you minimize oily hair.
