An irritated Chris gives Mike Lancaster the cold shoulder in Broken Hill, when she and Kate are transporting Jack to Sydney for surgery. Kate meets up with an old friend who is concerned for his grandfather’s health. Angus McGregor breaks out of an aged care facility to walk home Coopers Crossing. He and his old mate cadge a lift with the flying doctors and Angus alarms Kate when he keeps referring to Geoff as her boyfriend. Geoff and Chris try to help Angus save the family farm.
