The new head of Interpol from South Korea gained 62.3% of the vote.

Kim Jong Yang from the Republic of Korea was elected new President of Interpol.

Representative of the Republic of Korea Kim Jong Yang elected new president of Interpol for a term of two years.

According to the results, Kim Jong Yang gained 62.3% of the votes, while Russia's representative received 37.7%.

Interpol is an international anti-crime organization, founded in 1923. He co-ordinates international searches and also deals with: trafficking in human beings, organized crime communities, terrorism, drug smuggling, economic crime and high technology, falsification, counterfeiting of securities, child pornography.
