A runaway kid comes to the dog trials with his dog Sparky. Marty convinces Emma to let Andy stay in the garage. A hit to the stomach puts Andy in hospital where Dr Standish discovers a cyst on the liver cancer. However he can’t operate without permission from Andy’s guardian. Marty tries to convince Geoff to let Andy participate in the dog trials, and Geoff agrees somewhat reluctantly. Things also heat up between Chris and Mike Lancaster.
