A carnival comes to Coopers Crossing and is immediately under suspicion when an elderly couple is found dead at their campsite. Sgt Carruthers is recruited into a larger police sting to uncover the culprits. DJ’s lack of shooting skills are revealed at the carnival when Geoff takes aim and wins a prize for Kate. Fr Jacko and Dr Bill Randall decide to go fishing. The retiring doctor alarms Chris and Geoff when there is talk of starting up a GP clinic in town.
