The Dow Hits
Record High The ongoing trade war
between the U.S. and China
seems to have had little
impact on Wall Street so far. The Dow has risen about 3,300 points since
a low on April 2. Since the implementation of corporate tax cuts, the Dow had a major rally late last year and into January, reaching 26,000. Shortly after, Wall Street was hit with
two single-day 1,000-point plunges,
which panicked investors. Paul Hickey, co-founder of Bespoke Investment Group, via CNN Today, however, the
fundamentals look good. Dan Suzuki, portfolio strategist at Richard Bernstein Advisors, via CNN If the Dow closes above 26,616.71, it will mark its 100th record close since President Donald Trump took office, according to S&P Dow Jones Indices.
