Research and innovation at the Lafarge Research Center

This is why Lafarge has equipped itself with a Research Center very much dedicated to the development of solutions for the building industry. Our Research Center, located at l’Isle d’Abeau near Lyon, in France, is a powerful performance lever for the Group with the necessary means and expertise at its disposal to successfully conduct its innovative projects. There are more than 200 research scientists and technicians, among which 70 are engineers with prestigious PhDs from 10 different countries. Everyone contributes every day to the elaboration of future concrete mix designs.
