Lafarge and WWF: quarry rehabilitation in Romania

Within the frame of Lafarge and WWF’s partnership in Romania, the Matasaru quarry is being rehabilitated. A part of this sand and gravel extraction site is a Natura 2000 protected area. This operation enabled the creation of a dedicated zone to preserve biodiversity.
