Trump Reportedly Wants To 'Punish' Reporters Over 'The Way They Ask Him Questions'

A Washington Post report noted Friday that President Trump has sought to "punish journalists" over the way they ask him questions.

President Trump reportedly wants to ban certain reporters from the White House press events.
"Trump has sought repeatedly to punish journalists for the way they ask him questions, directing White House staff to ban those reporters from covering official events or to revoke their press credentials, according to several current and former administration officials," a Washington Post piece notes.
The president has "vented angrily to aides about what he considers disrespectful behavior and impertinent questions from reporters in the Oval Office and in other venues," the Post piece adds.
The report comes shortly after CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins was barred from attending Trump's Wednesday afternoon open press event in the Rose Garden.
During an early-Wednesday photo-op, Collins had pressed Trump on the Michael Cohen matter, asking, "Did Michael Cohen betray you, Mr. President?" and, "Are you worried about what is on the other tapes, Mr. President?"  No answers were given, and Collins was soon after told by the White House staff that she could not attend the open press event. Members of the press have since expressed outrage over the decision, including Fox News, which said in a statement, "we stand in strong solidarity with CNN for the right to full access for our journalists as part of a free and unfettered press."
