Seoul's government announced plans to encourage the use of hydrogen powered vehicles and eco-friendly energy sources.
In a meeting on cutting red tape for innovative industries,... the trade ministry said it will ease regulations on installing fuel cell converters and charging stations for hydrogen vehicles.
The move should help the government reach its goal of having a thousand city buses running on hydrogen within five years.
Other plans include,... installing smart meters in apartment blocks,... to widen access to greener and cheaper sources of energy.
The ministry also proposed improving the country's database of medical information by using big data technology to construct a network of some 40 hospitals and 50 million people.
