Footage shows the aftermath of the horror crash which saw lucky Crystal Palace defender Pape Souare escape with his life. Paramedics, police and fire rescuers can be seen on the carriageway as an air ambulance lands at the scene.Eyewitnesses said they thought someone had "definitely died" judging by the wreckage of the footballer's Mercedes 4x4.The 26-year-old was cut from the £100,000 car and airlifted to hospital after a serious two-vehicle crash between junctions three and four of the M4. He suffered injuries to his thigh bone and jaw bone.
