PCSO rammed by a driver on a petrol forecourt

Footage captured the moment a police worker was thrown onto the bonnet of a car driven by a mum - with her six-year-old daughter inside. Petrol station CCTV shows Leah Marks desperately trying to escape from a Police and Community Support Officer at a filling station in Castle Bromwich, Birmingham. The officer was thrown onto the bonnet of her Vauxhall Astra at Morrison’s petrol station on the Chester Road. The footage shows the PCSO several times try to stop learner driver Marks, 39, after automatic number plate recognition cameras flagged up her vehicle as having no insurance. But instead of stopping, Marks ploughed through the PCSO leaving him with injuries to his wrist and knee. She was jailed for six months after pleading guilty to dangerous driving, driving with no insurance, no MOT and all while holding only a provisional license.
