The passersby rushed to the scene when the Ford BMax crashed into a coffee shop in Oxford city centre as it was reversing. A female cyclist ended up pinned under the blue car with serious leg injuries after the horror smash which happened just after midday yesterday (Thur). Dramatic video footage captured dozens of brave shoppers bravely heaving the car up several feet before others hauled the woman to safety. In the 1.04-minute clip, a group of men can be seen lifting the Ford up onto two wheels as other bystanders help free the cyclist. The wreckage of the bike and what appears to be a brown wicker basket is then visible when the group put the car down. The quick-thinking actions of the shoppers allowed paramedics to treat the woman who was then taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with serious leg injuries. Local businessman Mehmet Yildirim, 35, was upstairs in Java&Co coffee shop where the crash happened when he filmed the incredible rescue. He said: "I was working on my laptop when I heard a bang and felt a shaking, it felt like a big earthquake.
