A patient artist has created these gravity-defying sculptures by painstakingly balancing stones on one another. Patient Adrian Gray, 44, spends hours scouring his local beach selecting the ideal pebbles to fit with another. By very carefully 'feeling' the balancing point of each rock he handles - a process that requires supreme skill and patience - Gray is able to arrange them in precarious positions. Each one takes hours to perfect, and now he has created dozens of stunning 'installations' that amaze beachgoers by appearing in a seemingly impossible structure.
