There are few more iconic cars than the Ford Mustang - and now it’s available from your local Ford dealer in the UK in right-hand drive. The Ford Mustang Fastback might not be the last word in sophistication, but it’s hard to go faster for less money. In fact it’s nearly £20,000 less than the Vauxhall VXR8. You can have your Mustang with a 2.3-litre turbocharged engine, or the 5.0-litre V8 we’ve tested here. Choose the latter and you’ll enjoy BMW M4 levels of performance for the price of a BMW 420d. It’s not cheap to run, but it’s incredible value to buy.
