Chiang Mai Residents Protest Luxury Housing Project

More than 1,000 people in Chiang Mai, Thailand, staged a protest on April 29 against a luxury housing development project for judges.Protesters voiced concerns over the environmental impact of the project planned at the foot of the Doi Suthep mountain, according to Thai PBS. This drone footage, captured by Shinshiro Kenji Arthur, shows the demonstration at Three Kings Monument.The rally was reportedly the country’s largest since the beginning of military rule in 2014.
